“Mettasense” Yoga and relaxing area which opened in February 2010, comprising 400 square meters is not only a place to exercise and play sport, but a real wellness centre with its own philosophy, which is reflected by the interior decoration concept, conceived with an accent on translucency via HI-MACS® Opal.
The young designer’s team of “Fimera Design” studio, under the guidance of Ivan Grozdev, wanted to explore the possibilities of the new generation of lucent HI-MACS® colours, by creating homogeneous, sinuous and seamless surfaces and at the same time being able to work with the translucency of the material by milling miniature details to be backlit.
In addition, "Mettasense" includes a small restaurant with fusion cuisine which offers healthy food, comfortable changing rooms, a massage room and a room for water therapy, a meeting zone and a private room where clients can eat comfortably sitting on floor pillows.
Many of the interior elements are experimental for the young team of “Fimera Design” – the highlight of their creative work is the restaurant’s countertop, which is made of one sheet of lucent Solid Surface HI-MACS®, allowing the light to underline the milled texts.
The general monochromatic vision, the intentional use of soft colours and forms and the diffuse light of lucent panels are a prelude for relaxation of both body and soul.
