A new kitchen made entirely out of HI-MACS® will be presented at the Bauen & Mordernisieren fair, which will take place in Zurich from 3rd to 7th September 2009. This kitchen is the result of an association between the designer and manufacturer KAWA Design and the Swiss HI-MACS® distributor Toni Kläusler.
What makes this kitchen special first of all is its monolithic look, which gives it harmonious lines. Manufactured without seams, it all seems to have been created from a single part. The whole worktop, the backboard, and all the cupboards are made out of HI-MACS® S28 Alpine White. Although choosing to only use one material is aesthetically pleasing, we should not ignore its boundless functional features: it is non-porous, the worktop is stainless and gives impeccable hygiene.
Highly modern, the worktop is also equipped with an electric wok hob and built-in stainless steel bars for hot dishes.
