The heart of the Zona Tortona is where the prototypes of the 2009 Design Competition’s winners will be revealed for the first time. The “Lamps” theme gave students the opportunity to work with the new HI-MACS® “Lucent” colours. Featuring translucency, complex thermoforming and extreme designs, the 2009 promotion is a miraculous collection demonstrating daring and creativity.
The surprise of this year is the participation of the United States and South Korea with their respective themes of “Balance” and “Light”. An exhibition organised by the architect Francesco Lucchese, a specialist in multi-sensory architecture, is an astonishing experience not to be missed.
