Gareth Neal, a promising young designer straight out of Buckinghamshire College, will present his solo collection of furniture featuring the ‘Anne Table’ as its central focus. Inimitable in its 18th century ‘Queen Anne’ style, the surface of the object is striated with cuts of different depths using a digital machine (CNC). This lets us catch a glimpse of the graceful table legs, which demonstrate the capability of HI-MACS® to give an elegant finish, through touch but also through uncluttered aesthetics. Gareth Neal will be present on Thursday 19th March, from 1pm to 2pm for an informal discussion on his work. He will also give a demonstration of his work by bringing his workshop to the gallery on 21st, 23rd, 24th and 25th March. He might even ask for volunteers from the audience to help him! “Made to View” exhibition. Contemporary Applied Arts 2 Percy Street London W1T 1DD Tel: +44 (0)20 7436 2344
