In November 2011, Batimat’s exhibition - the essential meeting place for the French and international construction industry - will open its doors and HI-MACS® will show, for the first time in France, the projects of the finalists and winners of the Design Contest 2011, announced in last September in London.
This will be the perfect occasion to see and appreciate in situ the multiple properties of the New Generation Solid Surface and understand how they were used by students and professionals from different countries to create innovative urban furniture for the cities.
The projects have been fabricated in real size by Global Vacuum Presses, and will be on show at the HI-MACS® booth. The highlights of the exhibition: E-moke, the winning project in the professional category, a static exercise bike to recharge mobile phones and Naked Lamp, the winner of the student’s category, an elegant street lamp intended to bring colour and light to towns.
