A student competition day has been organised on Thursday 15th October to inaugurate the new ADJ factory, a strategic HI-MACS® partner in Eastern France.
Time is THE scarce resource these days and this is exactly what our young designers are going to be up against: time and budget constraints, consultations with experts in HI-MACS® manufacturing, working on the very latest machines to make prototypes: everything students need for an unforgettable taste of this profession.
Three design schools from Alsace (Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Design Master of Université de Strasbourg and Lycée Le Corbusier) will start work at 9am on a topic only revealed on the day, to design and then manufacture a prototype in HI-MACS®. At 7pm, an exhibition conference will be held to present the objects in the ADJ premises. The event will be followed by a cocktail reception and prize giving.
