SALA PASARELA - A new sensory design spot in Pontevedra

Designed by Spanish Architecture Estudio B&A, new club Sala Pasarela was opened on August 2009 in the middle of historic center of ancient city of Pontevedra, Spain.
The Project appears to the eye as a new sensorial space with a different philosophy, a common space and at the same time individual, all drenched in light and color, a fusion of three spaces in a single volume where HI-MACS®  application perception is immediate for its enormous visual impact.
The challenge that architects Maria José Borrageiro and Cesar Luna from Study B & A set to develop this project, was to create a different and original concept, distinguished by an audacious avant-garde style, where people can feel comfortable.
“We opted for the predominance of color, backlighting applications, geometric forms, linear and integrated spaces; innate characteristics that only easy to transform HI-MACS® natural acrylic Stone is able to give all in one, HI-MACS® is surprisingly adaptable!” say the architects.
HI-MACS® was easy to combine also with all other different materials such as wood, steel, glass and stone, allowing the project to achieve something very difficult on interior Architecture: that the client feels protagonist of the created space, a main priority of B&A Estudio team.
