Spek Design, Stuttgart developed a series of new interactive exhibits for smart. These innovative exhibits communicate the new features and technologies of the fortwo smart cars. The exhibits were honored with iF Communication Award 2009. iF awards are considered to be amongst the most prestigious in the world. In excess of 5.000 annual participants from almost 50 different countries confirm this for many years now in an objective and reputable manner.
The new smart configurator and the smart electric drive exhibit were built with HI-MACS® solid surface materials in order to satisfy the client’s high expectation of quality and durability.
To achieve a harmonious unity between the stand concept from BraunWagner architects and the exhibits, the white surfaces were completed by the exhibit manufacturer MKT AG in a high-grade polished finish.
The smart Electric Drive exhibit communicates the everyday use of an electric smart car with a playful infotainment character. Matching the three different animated film clips, three smart cars drive through the abstract city scale model also entirely made of HI-MACS® material. Only the city icon (e.g. the Eiffel Tower) is exchanged depending on the exhibition host country.
