HI-MACS® is given its final finish by sanding.

The final stage with all HI-MACS® elements is sanding (or polishing for special applications):

1. When starting the sanding process, follow the direction and then change to . Move in these directions two times by moving the random orbital sander in small circular motions.
2. For a semi-gloss finish, use 3 to 4 steps of micron-sandpaper from 80 to 30 microns or grid-sandpaper from 100 to 380.
